Practice Exam for Final

I've gone to a few UA sessions and past midterm exams have been shared to help us prepare for the exams. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a past final exam that we could use to study for the final?

I don't think there any past final exams made available. However, in many of the workshops the questions are pulled directly from midterms and finals exams so you should be prepared by attending workshops. Also, you should do textbook problems to study. I think textbook problems are most similar to the two midterms so far.

I don't think that there are any practice exams, but according to what Dr. Lavelle said, studying homework problems and going to review sessions should be enough! Best of luck to you!

I think mainly focus on the textbook problems, but it wouldn't hurt to give the Sapling ones a glance!

I think the best way to practice would be the textbook problems because they are the most similar to the two midterms.

I do not think there is, but I would say that practicing homework problems from the textbook is the best way to review!

Looking over the textbook problems might be helpful for studying. However, it didn't really help for the last midterm, but hopefully this final goes better!

I do not think there are past final exams that we could study but the textbook problems have been helpful for the midterms.

My friend who previously took this class said she didn't get her final back when she took it, so I think your best bet is to study the textbook problems.

Hi Nayeli, I think the best thing to do would be to attend as many UA sessions next week to get the best review and practice, as how others have mentioned I don't think there is a past final exam available.

I do not think LaVelle will give a practice exam, but if the UA session are you should continue to do that. Other than that, he said to study old homework problems.

Textbook problems and UA sessions are probably the best ways to prepare for the final. They seem to have the most similarity to the actual exams he gives us.

Its best to just go over textbook problems, attend UA, and work on midterms for now, i believe there are some old exams on the google chem folder

I think there are past midterms and finals for 14A online, but not for Lavelle specifically. Could be worth looking into for extra practice though!
