Sapling Homework

I had Dr. Lavelle last quarter and used Sapling to complete homework, but when I try to access Sapling learning through the CCLE it says I need a new code. Is anyone else having this problem and know how to fix it?

If you bought the multi-access sapling package, then you should be able to access the Sapling site. Make sure to press "use credit" if there is an option available for you. It's the first option on the page and you should have $72, which is the amount needed to access the Sapling course page this quarter.

I had the same problem and it wouldn't let me use my credit so I logged out and logged back in then it worked. Also I had a sapling problem last quarter and had to call them, the IT people at sapling are pretty helpful.

hey, this is unrelated to your question since it's already been answered, but your screen name is currently your UCLA id number. your login username should be your id number, but your screen name can just be your name + discussion session instead of your id (for security reasons hahaha)

from what i recall, a lot of people last quarter were experiencing delays and were also waiting for the book code, like you are. i picked up my code at the UCLA bookstore, but if you aren't able to, you might have to wait a little longer.

Try emailing the ucla store (textonline@asucla.ucla.edu) and ask them to send you the code. Last quarter my sapling code never arrived physically, but I was able to get the code by emailing them!

This is also a sapling related question but I'm having trouble figuring out where to go for the Chem14B homework... I took 14A last quarter so all I see is my work from Chem14A. Does anyone know how to access the Chem14B homework?

You access the Chem 14B homework under current courses (if you bought the course or use credit to get it).

If you go near the top right corner of the page you should see your username, if you click it it should drop down the options of user control panel and profile. Click on user control panel and you should be able to change your username there. Hope this helps :)

By messing around with the website for a while I was able to access sapling with my previous code. Trying clicking "use credit" when it prompts you.

Hi! If you purchased the multi term access, you should be able to access Sapling by chose to pay with the 72 dollar credit.

I had a similar problem and to fix it I switched browsers and it worked (Safari to Chrome). If the site ever asks if you want to use credit, select it so you won't have to pay more than what you already have for the class :)

this may have already been answered but i access my 14B homework by clicking on the Sapling link provided on the week tabs on this course's CCLE website. if u do this, please make sure that pop-ups are enabled as Sapling will open up in a new tab

I believe that if you bought the recommended textbook from Chem 14A, the credits will transfer over and you can use your $72 credits to enroll in Chem 14B at no extra cost. That's what I did.

I bought the package last quarter so this quarter I just used my credit from when I bought it. It gave me that option.

If you bought the package for last quarter it should give you the option to use credit for this course. If you have trouble I’d recommend contacting the ucla store!
