Why K isn't determinant on reactants?

Why K isn't determinant on reactants?
Why is is that if you increase/decrease the concentration of reactants, that your K value isn't affected? Or is it and I just have it wrong?

K should go up when the concentration of products increases and it should go down when concentration of reactant increases. Is there a problem where this does not occur?

The reason k is not affected is because it is a constant. This means it will remain the same under various conditions.

K is not a determinant because it remains of the same value. It is a constant value and does not change depending on the equation or for what use it is being used for.
