Can someone please explain the difference between 1st, 2nd and 0-order reaction?

First order is the rate of consumption proportional to the first power of the concentration (has a slope of -k)
Second order is the rate of proportional to the second power of the concentration.. ( has a slope of k)
A zero-order is the rate independent of the concentration of the reactant ( has a slope of -k)
