Equilibrium box

When making an equilibrium box, how do you find the rate hypothetically if the rate is not given?

By equilibrium box, I assume you mean an ICE - box, where listed is initial concentration, change in concentration, and equilibrium concentrations. If given these values, as well as the time which it took to have this reaction go to completion, you would be able to find the average rate of change by calculating total change in concentration over total time.
