2.23 Acetaldehyde

I understand the naming of H3CCHO in terms of systematic naming - ethanal because it has two carbons and it is an aldehyde. However, how do we deduce the name acetaldehyde?

I do not believe that you will have to do deduce this name on the final exam. The systematic name should be fine.
