For this problem, I tried using the specific heat equation using the specific heat capacity of ice and 20.0 celsius as delta T, but I didn't get the answer in the solutions manual. What am I doing wrong?

For this question, I think you should use the specific heat capacity of liquid water instead of ice. Because this change is from water at 0 degree to 20 degrees. Therefore this process is made up of 2 sub-process. One is from the melting of ice water to liquid water at 0 degrees. Then followed by the process of heating the liquid water from 0 degrees to 20 degrees.
So Total Heat = [mC(liquid water)delta T ]+ mdeltaH

For the mdeltaH, you could also count it by using the information from the heating curve (page 287), where it was written that the melting of solid ice to liquid requires 6.01kJ/mol.
