Chemistry News
I wasn't able to find a place to post interesting articles or news, so I thought why not make a place for them. I'll start it off.
I'm a fan of IFL Science, and the most recent article in their Chemistry section just to happens to be related to thermochemistry. Have a look; it's pretty neat:

Thanks for the correction. :) I guess I meant related to heat/temperature.
And yes, one step closer to a real Spiderman is always nice.

Here's another article!

Chemists have made the tightest knot! It's a short, fun read. It's pretty "tight."

If you've tasted durian, whether you like it or not, you may agree that it has an interesting taste and smell. Well chemists took to labs to determine what is responsible for them. Here's the article:

Here's an interesting article about the chemistry that is supposed to allow plastics to be recycled an infinite amount of times! Perhaps this is a step in reducing the plastic waste that plagues our environment.

I think this article is very relevant because it discusses a possible solution that can significantly help patients in need of kidney transplants.

This is amazing!!!!!!! These are wonderful accomplishments. I hope in the future more women continue to excel and win these awards in chemistry and other subjects.
New Chemistry Helping make Plastic Safer!
A professor at UCSC was able to make a plastic that doesn't leach chemicals into its surroundings (like PVC does)! This can have massive environmental effects if companies will start using her new nonmigratory plasticizers.

There will never be a studyguide, but at least Lavelle has many resources we can use like Chem community!

There's a practice final posted somewhere in the chemistry community created by one of the UAs. They said it would closely resemble Lavelle's exam.
