drawing line structures

Are there multiple ways of drawing the same, correct line structure?
Does it matter whether you start the first diagonal line from the top or bottom?

Yes there are sometimes geometric isomers of the same molecule, depending on what you are given.
No it does not matter if you start with an up diagonal or down diagonal.

You can draw them in multiple ways and it doesn't matter how you start. Even if you start it horizontally or vertically, it's correct.
