Postby Odel Zadeh_2C » Sun Mar 19, 2017 7:17 pm

Is it okay to keep catalysts in the laws?

If it doesn't cancel out then it is okay.

You put a catalyst in the overall rate law only if the catalyst is part of the reactants side of the rate-limiting step.

If the catalyst is still present in the rate limiting step, then you should include it in the rate law
