Chem 14C

Postby Achang1L » Sat Feb 25, 2017 1:34 pm

Is all the organic chemistry that we are learning right now the foundation for 14C or does it take it into a entirely different direction?

It's a basic foundation as Chem 14A/B are general (physical) chemistry courses.
The organic we covered in Chem 14B is meant to assist you (and lower your activation energy barrier to organic chem). :-)

Do you know if the Organic Chemistry Course Reader we got for Chem 14B can be used for Chem 14C? Like, are there topics in our current Organics Course Reader that are covered in chem 14C?

We will be learning a lot of new topics in Chem 14C, which is why we have new materials. You could use the course reader if you want to review old topics, but you are going to need the new materials for the course as well.
