### Mass of electron for kinetic energy

When using the kinetic energy equation, will the mass of the electron be provided or will the kinetic energy itself be provided? If the mass of the electron is not given, how can you calculate the kinetic energy of the electron?

Kinetic Energy can be represented mathematically by the equation
$K.E. = \frac{1}{2}mv^{2}$
The mass of the electron will always be provided to you so given a specific velocity, you should have no problem calculating the kinetic energy.
