Do all half-filled subshelled atoms always have a higher electron affinity than the atom right next to them because they are more stable? For example, carbon has a higher electron affinity than nitrogen. Does this also correspond with phosphorus and sulfur?
Does silicon also have a higher electron affinity than phosphorus because phosphorus is already in its stable half-filled subshell? Does this mean that the elements with stable, half-filled subshells always have lower electron affinity levels than the elements next to them due to them already being stable?
