To get a value lower than the actual makes me believe that you rounded values as you continued solving. Significant figures comes into play at the end, once the answer is determined. I do not believe you will get full credit because of that but perhaps you will only lose one point.
Yes, it is important to round at the end rather than in the midst of the problem. However, because that number is so small, it's very possible to end up with a slightly different answer, so I would say it's okay. What is most important is that you are doing the work correctly. If the answer is within 1%, you should be fine.
