Chapter 8

where do the homework problems start since we are starting halfway through the chapter? Also what section in the book are we starting from within chapter 8?

Re: Chapter 8

Personally, I believe your TA would accept any 7 homework problems from the listed HW problems for chapter 8 on the syllabus. So far I know for sure he has talked about the measurement of heat which is 8.5 and the enthalpy of physical change which is 8.11.

All homework problems that you can do are on the syllabus.

Re: Chapter 8

I think lavelle said we are doing the second half of the section first and then going to the first half. The problems are all in the syllabus but since we didn't have problems due this week I believe we have 14 problems due in the week 2 discussion section.

Re: Chapter 8

We are starting from section 8.8 in the book, as everything before that deals with work and internal energy, not heat and enthalpy. Number 29 is the first question that deals with enthalpy in the book.

I found that equation 55 starts with the problems that my TA and Lavelle has referenced

So far, we can also do problems 37 and 39 before number 55.
