What are other isolated systems besides a calorimeter?

Another example of an isolated system could be a high grade thermos bottle like the question 8.1 shows us. The calorimeter is definitely the most popular and I would expect that to the the system used on a test dealing with isolated systems.

An isolated system cannot exchange energy or matter with its surroundings. I read somewhere that the universe is an isolated system, which I found pretty interesting.

Also, it seems very hard to find a truly isolated system, except for the universe as a whole, because we have to account for the gravity on any system with mass.

Another example besides a bomb calorimeter is coffee or any other drink in a high quality thermos bottle.
