Would the difference between using the average bond enthalpies to calculate enthalpy of reaction and using specific bond enthalpies be significant? Or would they give nearly the same result in calculation?

I think they would give nearly the same result as the average bond enthalpy values are averages of that said bond in a bunch of different molecular structures.
But i'm not 100% sure

Since mean bond enthalpy is the least accurate approach when calculating the total enthalpy of a reaction, the answer you receive from this method compared to a bond of formation method is decently close.
