Am I right by saying that if volume does not change,if a gas expands in a vacuum, and if a gas undergoes free expansion, work is 0?

Yes you are correct. There s no work being done as a gas expands in a volume because there is no opposing force.

Work done by expansion can be calculated by using w = -P * delta V. If delta V is zero, then there is no expansion occurring, and thus the overall work done is also zero. Note that under constant volume conditions, the change in internal energy of the system is given by qv and that the change in internal energy results from only the heat released by the reaction.

That is correct because the work done is a vacuum is 0 because there is no pressure or opposing force.
