Finding reaction rate

when solving reaction rate, do we use grams or moles?

Always moles for concentrations

keep in mind that the rate of reaction is equal to the change in concentration over the change in time. and as said above, concentration is always found in mols

moles because the concentration is molarity which is mol/L
if youre given grams you have to convert to moles and then divide by the amount of liters to find the concentration

use mols. in the book, some problems give amounts of a substance in terms of mmol (millimol), but you should try to convert this amount to mols by multiplying this value by 10^3.

There was a question in which the answer was in mmol. I guess this is ok as long as what you are solving for maintains the units you used.
