What does it mean for a reaction to have a negative order?

the concentration will appear in the denominator of the rate law. increasing the concentration would slow down the reaction because the negative order means it favors the reverse reaction.

I looked up negative order and apparently it indicates that the concentration of that species inversely affects the rate of the reaction. I'll link the site below

I wouldn't worry too much about it when you're studying, since we will only be tested on 1st, 2nd and zeroth order.
