On the class website, it has a link to some of rate laws

I was wondering if it would be recommended to know and have a basic understanding of the differential and integrated rate laws for 1st, 2nd, and Zero Ordered reactions(bolded in the pdf) but if the derivations and such wouldn't be necessary to know. I know we still need to know how to rearrange the equation to solve for k or t or whatnot.

Oh, same question applies to the bolded equations for half life which are farther down in the document

It's a good idea to know the derivations so you know where these equations come from which will give you a better understanding of the concepts.

We probably won't be asked to show the derivations but just knowing them helps give a better understanding of the relationships which we will be asked about in the concept portion of the exam

My TA said that it is a good idea to know, or at least understand the derivations.
