Increasing Concentration of Reactants

Does increasing the concentration of the reactants increase the rate of the reaction?

Yes, it does. For reactions to occur, the particles must collide and also have sufficient energy to cause that reaction. By increasing the concentration, you are also increasing the chances and frequency of collision between those particles.

Yes because rate=k(conc. R)^n, so rate is proportional to the concentration of the reactants. This means that is concentration increases, rate increases.

Since concentration and rate are directly proportional, an increase (or decrease) in the concentration will cause an increase (or decrease) in the rate.

yes, the reactions we are dealing with have a favorable forward reaction, and because we are typically dealing with them from the beginning of the reaction, they have not yet hit equilibrium. Therefore, an increase in reactants will increase the rate of the reaction

yes, because the frequency of collisions between the two reactants will increase if the concentration increases
