### Data to memorize for this chapter

Hey I'm wondering what are the key figures and formulas to memorise for this chapter? Like do we need to know the range of frequency and wavelength for different radiation type (eg. x-ray, microwave, visible light)? Or the range of Balmer and Lyman series?

On his second outline on the website, he discusses what we should know after learning this next material!

For example:
"Name and explain the relationship of each of the four s-, p-, and d-orbitals to the properties of electrons in these states."

It looks like we'll be going over new equations and learn how to apply them, as well as conceptually understand different properties of the photoelectric effect!

Also, Dr Lavelle said all the equations would be on the test, but you should know how to use them. I'm sure he doesn't expect us to memorize the EM spectrum, as he gives all constants on the tests. Hope this helps!
