Re: Bohr Frequency Condition [ENDORSED]
Bohr's frequency condition represents the relationship between the change in energy of an atom (or molecule) and the frequency of radiation emitted (or absorbed). Niels Bohr suggested that electrons energy levels were discrete and separated in stable orbits around the nucleus (like our solar system's gravitational pull) rather than randomly orbiting the nucleus . Sometimes photons can excite an electron of a certain energy level and that electron would move up an energy level resisting the pull from the nucleus. When the electron moves back to its original orbit it emits a photon of energy. Hopefully this helps a bit.

Re: Bohr Frequency Condition
To add on, Bohrs model is used to represent a hydrogen atom. The model consists of a proton as the nucleus with an electron orbiting the center. The Rydberg equation is also related to this for it's purpose of calculating the minimum energy to exist on an energy level.
