Memorizing equations
To what extent do we need to have all of the different equations memorized? What will be provided to us on the exams?

Re: Memorizing equations
I think most constants are given as well as most but not all equations. I feel like we are more required to know how to use an equation if given than memorizing

I believe the cover sheet that was on our first test will be the formulas provided to us.

Re: Memorizing equations
I also believe the same cover sheet we got for the first test is what we're getting for the rest of the tests! So, if I remember correctly, we didn't get the equation for molarity (and associated Minitial x Vinitial = Mfinal x Vfinal), but it seems to me that this class is very fair about equations given and not given. Like, Planck's constant is hard to memorize and is given, but if you know the units for molarity, you can figure out the equation. I'm planning to memorize units and go from there.

Re: Memorizing equations
I think all the equations will be posted on the test material. The only thing we need to do is to make sure we know how to use them
