Hello,
I was just wondering since test 2 is until 1.5 and not 1.6, which questions does that equate to from the ones assigned?
If these are the assignments,
Read: Ch 1
Do Problems: 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 21, 23, 25, 27, 33, 37, 39, 41, 43, 55, 57, 59, 65, 67, 69,
To which question is applicable for the test?
Thanks

Re: Second test questions
Test 2 covers material covered in Chapter 1 up to the end of 1.5.
Topics are:
wave and photon properties of light; Einstein equation; photoelectric effect; Bohr frequency condition; atomic spectra (electronic transitions); wave and particle properties of electrons, protons, etc.; DeBroglie equation
For this week focus on the homework problems that cover these topics.
See Announcements on my class website.

Re: Second test questions
Now that I have the textbook nearby.
Test 2 covers Chapter 1 homework problems: 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 21, 23, 25, 27, 33, 37, 39, 41
Also make sure to do these which will be very helpful for Test 2, the midterm and final exam:
Step 1. Photoelectric Effect Pre-Assessment
Step 2. Photoelectric Effect Video Module
Step 3. Photoelectric Effect Post-Assessment and Survey
Step 1. Atomic Spectra Pre-Assessment
Step 2. Atomic Spectra Video Module
Step 3. Atomic Spectra Post-Assessment and Survey
Step 1. Wave Properties of Electrons and The De Broglie Equation Pre-Assessment
Step 2. Wave Properties of Electrons and The De Broglie Equation Video Module
Step 3. Wave Properties of Electrons and The De Broglie Equation Post-Assessment and Survey
Working through the pre-assessment primes your brain to pay attention to key concepts and phrases while watching the video module.
Students who complete both the pre- and post- assessments show the biggest performance increase.

Re: Second test questions [ENDORSED]
Several repeat questions on the same homework problems.
Make sure to read recent posts or do a quick search and you can read multiple similar if not the same Q&A (which you can learn from and if needed comment further on).
