Wat kind of light is used in the Lyman series?

I believe its UV light.

UV light is used in the Lyman series.

Balmer Series refers to the spectra emitted by the H-atom in the UV light wavelengths.

The Lyman Series uses UV light which is stronger than visible light. It releases electrons to n=1, the lowest energy level.
