### Minimum indeterminacy

When using the Heisenberg equation, are we always going to be solving for the minimum indeterminacy? Will we be ever asked to solve for the maximum or is that not possible?

### Re: Minimum indeterminacy

In the Heisenberg equation you are solving for the uncertainty (indeterminacy) in position, mass, or volume based on the information the question gives you and you solve to find the amount for the variable that is equal to or just above the amount h/4(pi) so it doesn't make sense to solve for the maximum ever because that is not the point of the equation.
