## E equations

$E_{cell} = E_{cell}^{\circ}-\frac{RT}{nF}\ln Q$

### E equations

What’s difference between the two equations for E? (E = E° - (RT/nF)lnQ and E = E° - (.05916 V/n)logQ).

There isn't. Both equations are equal to each other, one simply uses a natural log, and the other uses a log base 10 and simplifies/integrates the constant into the equation required to make both equations equal.

As mentioned above, both equations are the same except for the fact that one uses base e and the other uses base 10. The equation with base 10 is more typically used because pH is based on a log base 10 scale.
