## Termolecular Reactions

### Termolecular Reactions

In lecture it was said that termolecular reactions are rare. If this is the case could we still be given an example of one on a test or do we not have to worry about them at all?

I think tests will mostly focus on uni or bimolecular reactions. However, I think we are still expected to know the definition of a termolecular reaction, why they are more rare, and how to write the rate law for a given termolecular elementary reaction.

Yes, Dr. Lavelle probably just wants us to know that the concepts between unimolecular, bimolecular, and termolecular reactions are similar. I also don't think we'll need to know this for test 3, because it falls under "Reaction Mechanisms."
