A dipole moment occurs when one atom in a molecule (or one side of a molecule) is more electronegative than the other, meaning that it attracts electrons. This attraction causes a net negative charge on one end of the molecule and consequently a positive charge on the other end. This polarity within the molecule affects how it bonds with other molecules.
An induced dipole is when a molecule that is usually non polar has become temporarily induced to have a dipole by surrounding molecules. I believe a dipole moment is just when a molecule itself has a dipole due the electronegativity of its constituent atoms. A dipole-dipole interaction is when any polar molecule has an interaction with another polar molecule.
A dipole-dipole interaction occurs when two polar molecules interact. The partially positive side of one molecule is attracted to the negative side of the other molecule. This is different from a dipole-induced dipole interaction because in a dipole-induced dipole interaction, a polar molecule induces a dipole of an otherwise nonpolar molecule. This happens because the polar molecule distorts the electrons on the nonpolar molecule, resulting in a weak attraction between the two molecules. A dipole moment measures the separation between opposite charges. Hope this helps!
