What is the official name of a molecule with 3 ligands and 2 lone pairs around the central atom?

A molecule with AX3 atoms and two pairs of free electrons are known as a T-shaped molecule.

A molecule with AX3E2 VSEPR formula is going to have an electron geometry of trigonal bipyramidal (this takes into account the lone pairs) and a molecular geometry of a T-shape (this takes into account only the atoms, excluding the lone pairs).

So AX3E2's steric number is 5 and so that shape would be trigonal bipyramidal but since you remove two atoms and have two lone pairs in it's place, the final shape would be t-shaped.

The geometric shape of this molecule would be called "T-shaped".

This is a T-shaped molecular geometry but it has a an arrangement of electron density of trigonal bipyramidal. The bond angles are <180 degrees and <90 degress. With a hybridization of sp^3d.
