## Gibbs Free Energy Problems

$\Delta G^{\circ}= \Delta H^{\circ} - T \Delta S^{\circ}$

$\Delta G^{\circ}= -RT\ln K$

$\Delta G^{\circ}= \sum \Delta G_{f}^{\circ}(products) - \sum \Delta G_{f}^{\circ}(reactants)$

### Gibbs Free Energy Problems

For problems pertaining to Gibbs Free Energy, will we be given the standard enthalpies and the entropies? I am wondering because we have them in the textbook. Will we be given another sheet for the test with the information or will it be provided in the problem? Thank you!

### Re: Gibbs Free Energy Problems

we won't be expected to have standard enthalpies/entropies of formation memorized for any compound, unless enough information is given for use to solve otherwise. most likely it'll be given to us in the question if we're asked to solve for free energy.

We will be given all standard enthalpies/entropies that we need to solve the problem. Don't worry about memorizing any specific values.

we don't need to memorize any, they'll be given to us
