## Gibbs Free Energy Measurement

$\Delta G^{\circ}= \Delta H^{\circ} - T \Delta S^{\circ}$

$\Delta G^{\circ}= -RT\ln K$

$\Delta G^{\circ}= \sum \Delta G_{f}^{\circ}(products) - \sum \Delta G_{f}^{\circ}(reactants)$

### Gibbs Free Energy Measurement

If Gibbs Free Energy (Delta G) is not measured directly like enthalpy of formation (Delta H), how is the Delta G of a reaction measured experimentally?

Delta G=Delta H— T * Delta S

By using the deltaH, deltaS, and T, we can find the value of delta G using the equation (deltaG= deltaH- T*deltaS)

To confirm, do we find the Delta H and Delta S by using standard reaction formula (Sum of Products) — (Sum of Reactants)?

I believe the most common way to come up with Gibbs free energy is using the methods listed above. In other words, if there is a way to measure Gibbs free energy directly from an experiment, I don't think we need to know it.
